Christmas Jumper Day 2021

On Friday 10th December, it was National Christmas Jumper Day.  After looking at all the different pictures and patterns on their jumpers, the children had a go at designing their own.  Everyone looked really bright and festive - take a look at the pictures below!

Year 1 Bird Feeders

Thursday 9th December

In Science, the Year 1 children have been thinking about different birds.  On Thursday afternoon, they made their own bird feeders to hang in the school grounds.

Bonfire Night

This week, we have been thinking about Bonfire Night.  We have used different materials to make firework pictures and written words to describe them.  We have explored a range of percussion instruments to create firework sounds, as well as tasting mushy peas and hotdogs!  Here are some photographs to show you how busy we have been.
