Registers are taken at 9:00am when it is expected that all pupils will have arrived in their class. The doors open each morning at 8:50 am. A child arriving late in class can feel vulnerable and unsettled, please try and be punctual at all times. Arrival after 9:00am will be marked as “Late” in the register, and arrival after 9:30am will be marked as “Unauthorised” attendance for the morning session. All lateness is recorded in a Late Arrivals Book on a daily basis.
Regular school attendance is important in all phases of education. Our school policy on attendance requires contact with the school from the parent on day one of the child’s absence.
If your child is not well enough to come to school, please make sure you ring school before 10:00am to report their absence and the reason why.
