On Thursday afternoons I work with the year 2 children.
In music, we have lots of fun learning together. We know lots about some composers, musical terms, great songs, styles of music, percussion and we are very excited about our new song which goes along with a country dance (Toes a twinklin'). It is fast moving, and great fun.
In PSHE we look at diferent themes every half term. We are currently thinking about "Going for goals". These could be short term goals, or things for the future. Some of the great year 2 goals were...
* to be able to do some football tricks
* to learn how to swim
*to be a belly dancer
*to be a plumber
*to be a vet
Great goals!! I'm sure with determination and hard work the year 2 children will achieve their goals.
