It is with great sadness that this evening we have received the news that Queen Elizabeth II has died. This marks an end to the longest reigning British Monarch in History.
It was a wonderful occasion this year to mark with the children Her Majesty’s Platinum jubilee and therefore our assembly tomorrow will commemorate the life of Her Majesty the Queen.
Current advice from the DFE is that schools should open as normal tomorrow and further guidance will be issued during this period of mourning.
