Spring Term 2025.

We will start this term by welcoming our new friends to Nursery.

In the first couple of weeks will learn about Winter. We will explore outside looking for signs of winter, comparing the weather to Autumn and reading books about Winter.

We will the move on to our topic about light and dark. We will explore shadows and learn about nocturnal animals.

Autumn Term 2024

Throughout the Early Years, we are thinking about;

All About Me and Celebrations!

The colder weather has has given us lots of opportunities to explore the ice and snow. We enjoyed mark making in the snow, as well as searching for spiderwebs that had caught the frost.

It was lovely to welcome our adults into school for our Winter Workshops. We created Christmas trees, Santa faces and snowflakes.

Outdoor play fun!

Children in Need. We painted Pudsey by potato printing, made cupcakes, explored Pudsey ice cubes and used Pudsey moulds in the playdough.

Learning about Diwali by making Rangoli patterns

Celebrating Autumn!

Our topic this term is 'All About Me.' The children have been busy over the past few weeks completing lots of activities including drawing pictures of their families, making faces using different objects, baking biscuit families, sharing family photos and making clay hearts.

We have had a lovely first couple of weeks in Nursery. The children have made us so proud by taking everything in their stride and learning new routines and expectations. They are settling well, sharing with new friends, being kind and above all having lots of fun!
